Bright, aromatic, and full of character - our Jeung San Coriander Pesto Sauce is a Hong Kong twist on the Italian classic. Blending fresh coriander with toasted nuts and spices, it brings a vibrant, herbaceous lift to any dish. Whether tossed through spaghetti, noodles, stirred into rice, or spread on warm bread, this pesto is all about versatility and flavour.

Ingredients

  • 200g spaghetti (or egg noodles)

  • 3 tbsp Jeung San Coriander Pesto Sauce

  • 1 tbsp olive oil (optional)

  • 1 handful of fresh coriander leaves

  • 1 spring onion, finely sliced

  • 1 tbsp toasted pine nuts (or peanuts)

  • ½ lime, for juice

  • Fresh chilli slices (optional, for heat)

Method

  • Cook the spaghettiin salted boiling water until just tender. Drain, keeping back a little cooking water.

  • Warm Jeung San Coriander Pesto Sauce in a pan with 2–3 tbsp of the reserved cooking water. Stir until smooth.

  • Toss in the noodles until evenly coated. Add olive oil if you prefer a silkier texture.

  • Top with freshness: coriander leaves, spring onion, lime juice, and pine nuts.

  • Finish with spice: add fresh chilli if you want extra kick.

Perfect on its own, or topped with grilled chicken, prawns, or tofu for a fuller meal.
